Therapy Train Stirling is a Community Interest Company offering a range of child and adult counselling & training services, in the centre of Stirling. Our All Age counselling and therapy service opened in August 2019 and we offer the following therapy and training opportunities: Counselling for adult clients lasix COSCA Certificate Training for adults interested in learning counselling skills Play Therapy for children Supervision support for counsellors or other health care professionals Training for adult carers or parents interested in learning therapeutic play skills. Therapy Train Stirling CIC was incorporated as a new Social Enterprise in June 2019 and began actively trading from January 2020, running COSCA certificate group training courses, offering adult counselling and child play therapy to individual clients.
Therapy Train Stirling CIC holds organisational membership of COSCA; since January 2020 we have facilitated part-time COSCA Certificate Courses and plan to continue offering part time skills training groups; we also offer professional supervision to qualified counsellors. Our Social Enterprise beneficiaries are adults who have engaged in our group training courses, e.g. COSCA Certificate in Counselling courses, which has a positive impact in the community as participants learn to be more empathic listeners. Our enterprise also supports Care Experienced Children and their families, through our Play prednisone Therapy service to individual children, parents, kinship carers and other care-giving adults who support them.
