Under the Trees (UTT) is an outdoor learning charity providing quality outdoor learning experiences for communities across central Scotland.
We work with a wide range of different backgrounds, age groups and abilities. We provide outdoor learning opportunities within schools, early year settings and focussed groups, including disadvantaged children and families, as well as training and advice. We are also developing volunteering opportunities across our wider programmes including our public/family/birthday events, over 50’s sessions, summer play programmes and nature clubs and health and wellbeing sessions.
UTT help to connect our communities to nature, raise aspirations, bring people together and support disadvantaged children and families.
Prior to 2018 we operated as a Community Interest Company, and before this as a sole trader, with Under The Trees used as a trading name for Jessica Thomson. We have been around for coming on 11 years now delivering outdoor learning sessions.
